Building a new home is one of the biggest decisions your family will make.  We understand this process can be a little overwhelming, therefore we have outlined the process in a few easy steps. Our unique approach to home-building allows custom designs and ensures every client receives a truly custom-quality home.  We remain in regular communication throughout the entire process, making the path to home ownership easy.

Initial Consultation – During the initial consultation we will meet with you to discuss the project as a whole, establish desired timelines, and review general budget desires. We use this time to get to know you and what your dreams are for the final product so we all begin on the same page.

Selection of New Home Site – Shortly after the initial consultation, we will review potential sites with you for your new home.  If you own a lot, we will come out to the site to assess the property.  If you do not have a lot, we will review with you the lots in the Marmo Homes portfolio or work with our network of realtors and land owners to find the perfect lot for your new home.

Selection of New Home – The next step is all about selecting the home design that fits your needs.  You may choose to design a home from the beginning using one of our preferred architects or choose from one of our pre-designed floor plans.  Bottom line, it is all about customization.  Unlike other builders, everything in your Marmo Home can be tweaked, finessed, or outright changed until you are completely happy with the home plan.  Since you can change virtually anything you want, you will never have to settle for living according to someone else’s lifestyle.

Custom Options and Color Selections – Within 30 days of the date of contract execution, we meet with you to finalize all structural and custom options.  Within 90 days of contract execution, we meet with you to select all designer options including color selections.

Construction of New Home – Once selections have been completed and the required permits have been obtained, construction of your new home will begin.  During this time, you will have regularly scheduled on-site meetings with a Marmo Homes Representative to review the progress of your home.

Homeowner Orientation – Once your new home is completed, we meet with you for a final walk-through.  At this meeting we review with you the proper care and maintenance of your home.

Bill Marmo

Owner

Bill began his career at an early age, with rehabbing homes along The Jersey Shore. After college, with a business degree in hand, Bill pursued a career in new residential home building. For the next several years he worked his way up and a decade later became division president for one of the leading national builders. A few years in, Bill decided to trade in his corporate hat and get back to his true passion, working directly with homeowners to create their dream home; thus Marmo Homes was founded.

Heather Marmo

Owner

After graduating college, Heather began her career in the fashion industry, as a merchandiser of men's apparel. Her eye for detail was not only for fashion, but also on home design and decor. While she found herself often traveling to work sites with her husband Bill, she found a greater desire for new home building and interior design. After taking a few years off to start a family, Heather wanted to follow her passion, and eagerly joined Bill in starting Marmo Homes.
